Supported by NHG Health, the NHG Health Adoption & Scale Healthcare (NASH) Innovation Fund aims to enable NHG campuses to better drive the innovation and capability development by gearing funds towards the cross-institution intra-cluster programmes.
NASH Innovation Fund aims to provide holistic innovation support within NHG Health cluster through 3 domains:

Domain A: Global Innovation Visiting Expert

Domain B: Cluster Adoption and Scale

Domain A - Global Innovation Visiting Expert (GIVE)
Domain A aims to provide funding to invite overseas experts to share innovative ideas, best-in-class tools and practices, to build thought leadership and transform healthcare in NHG Health institutions.
Eligibility Criteria

Visiting expert(s) must engage in the following activities (“Domain A Purpose”):
o 1 CHI Masterclass session which is open to all the NHG Health and partners.
o 1 NHG Health leadership (involving C-Suite) engagement.
o 1 cross-institutions engagement (beyond the masterclass and leadership engagement mentioned above) and/or engagement which focus on our regional health with NHG Health’s role as regional manager.

Applicants must be NHG Health employed staff.
Exclusion criteria:

This funding excludes Research and HMDP Experts focusing on clinical service.

Co-funding of any visiting expert(s) who has been invited for other than a Domain A Purpose will not be allowed (e.g. Applicant intends to use NASH Domain A fund to co-fund expert’s cost for Conference/Event X).

However, a back-to-back funding for a Domain A Purpose in conjunction with another event is allowed (e.g. Expert is engaged for Conference/Event X from Day 1-3, and is engaged for a NASH Domain A Purpose from Day 4-7).

For back-to-back funding, Domain A will only cover incremental costs for the expert

Funding Quantum
Up to $25,000 per visiting expert within the awarded FY:

Covers accommodation, business class air tickets, local transportation, honorarium, entertainment, withholding tax, etc.

Submission and Award

Project Lead is to submit your completed application form to CHI Partnerships Office at: chi@nhghealth.com.sg. You do not need to obtain CEOs endorsement prior to the submission.

CHI will facilitate obtaining endorsements from the respective NHG Health institutions CEOs after receiving your completed application form. Where an application involves more than one (1) NHG Health institution(s) co-hosting the Domain A Purpose programme (with one of the institutions being the lead applicant), CEO’s endorsement would be provided by the leading institution. In the case where two (2) institutions are co-applying (i.e. co-owning the Domain A Purpose programme), CEO’s endorsement would be provided from both institutions.

For applications involving institutions from other clusters, the Project Lead must seek CEOs endorsements from those institutions independently.

The review process will take approximately 3 months. During this time, applicants may be approached via email to furnish any further clarifications, present your proposals, and participate in Q&A sessions with the Review Panel.

Award results will be announced via email by Aug 2026.

Project duration should commence within FY2026.

Eligibility Criteria

Project Lead must hold a primary full-time appointment (defined as a minimum commitment of nine months per year) in NHG Health.

The NASH Innovation Fund Domain B is only applicable for proposed project that aims to implement a validated and proven innovation solution in at least 2 NHG Health institutions that aligned to NHG Health strategic goals & enablers.
o On “co-application/ involvement of at least 2 NHG Health institutions” encompasses the following example:

The NHG Health institution with the validated solution (i.e. “originating institution”) is eligible for the fund and is considered involved if the originating institution is also enhancing the validated solution within originating institution or providing support to at least another NHG institution(s) (i.e. “adopting institution(s)”).

If the originating institution intends to enhance the solution through this proposed project, the adopting institution should also implement the enhanced version of solution as well.

For example:
The solution is TTSH 3D Printing solution (version 1.0) where both TTSH and KTPH have proposed to tap on NASH Domain B fund. In the case where the scope of project involves TTSH enhancing 3D solution from version 1.0 to 2.0, then KTPH should implement version 2.0 instead of 1.0.
Funding Quantum
Base funding of $100,000, but up to $200,000, per project over 12 months with justification:
• Covers initial cost of purchase of solution,
• Infrastructure setup,
• Initial integration with existing system, etc.
