About CHI FLYING

The Future Leaders and Young INnovators Guild (FLYING) is a network with over 200 members connecting young health and social care leaders across Singapore and beyond. We invite individuals below 40 years of age in the health and social care sector who desire to become a change agent and have experience in leadership to join the CHI FLYING network.

Our Objective

To raise up generations of young leaders across the health and social care landscape who are better connected and united together with a common understanding of each other and their perspectives to transform health and social care in Asia and beyond, going Across Professions, Across Communities and Across Borders.

What We Do

Recognising that the current issues and needs of an increasingly complex landscape need interconnected solutions touching across multiple spectra, CHI-FLYING was established to provide an inflection point for young leaders across the health and social care landscape. By bringing together young leaders across the spectrum to better understand and connect with each other, we can build stronger interprofessional and inter-institutional networks as the leaders develop and grow, increasing opportunity for cross-collaboration.

Through the events and opportunities available at FLYING, we seek to expand members’ awareness and understanding of the transformations occurring in the health and social care landscape and create opportunities where they can drive change, providing opportunities to network, connect and launch new initiatives together.

Our Programmes and Events

Tea Session

Join us for engaging tea sessions with the FLYING network, a vibrant community of future leaders in health and social care. This informal gathering offers a unique opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals and learn more about the network’s vision and activities. Come connect, share insights,  discuss challenges, and explore how we can collectively shape the future of healthcare together.

Mala Dialogue

Mala dialogues are exclusive, closed-door conversations that brings together network members and thought leaders for a “spicy” conversation on pressing issues in health and social care. This candid dialogue encourages bold discussions, challenging perspectives, and fresh ideas, creating a unique space to address complex topics and inspire transformative change.

Onboarding

Onboarding for FLYING community provides an in-depth introduction to the FLYING network's vision and mission. This experience enables participants to immerse themselves in the network’s values and initiatives, while also opening doors to exciting leadership opportunities. As an onboarded member, you’ll have the chance to join the FLYING core team to plan for hallmark activities, driving impactful projects and shaping the future of health and social care together with other passionate leaders.
